Acclaimed pianist Yann Keerim performs solo piano concerts offering an intimate and unique concert experience. Each performance explores new dimensions of classical and Greek music, creating a unique journey for the audience. The repertoire includes baroque works such as the piano sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, as well as works by composer Alexander Scriabin.
Guests are treated to performances by some of Greece’s top musicians in a 1930s neoclassical house, located just behind the Kallimarmaro Stadium. With no sound equipment, the concerts let listeners enjoy the pure, acoustic sound of the piano. It is a rare opportunity not only to enjoy a private piano concert but also to gain insight into the rich heritage of Greek music.
Yann Keerim performs on a 100-year-old upright piano, in a 1.5-hour solo or duo performance with a fellow musician (depending on the date). The piano is left open, so guests can see how it works: the mechanics and the pure sound.
After the concert, guests enjoy a glass of Greek wine, chat with the soloist(s), and can even play the piano together with Yann.
